I picked up this car from Merlyn 2 years ago it was an acquisition from Tom Mix, and he was an incredible brass man. He rebuilt this PSC model all the way. Entirely new or to his level, the PSC 8k tanks are ok but this car I have is easily Protocraft quality. To a degree, the rivets Tom attempted to "point" they all have this nice 'point' on them nearly as noticeable as IMRL's plastic 8k tanks. He did a pretty amazing job hand punching all those rivets. It's a new body not the PSC body and all the underframe detail is crispy and completely works. 100% of the piping is present. The only that doesn't work is the brake set up. But he attached and milled and riveted all of it. Rather nice workmanship. I felt bad painting it.
