Yes, expecting a working unblemished product when new is very selfish of us consumers.

If you received items from a manufacturer with blemishes or a decorating problem, why would you accept shipment?

Look, I don't want to get into a debate.  If you can't understand why I said what I did above, then so be it.  The expectation standards by consumers is so high now that under the current production parameters, we don't want to put our company in a situation that would likely require us spending tons of money on something that ends up being a problem for both us and the consumer.  We could inspect each and every item and still not meet the standards of too many folks (based on what we see here on the forum).  So, having one of the major manufacturers produce something for us with VERY LIMITED potential orders, does not make economic nor public relations sense.  Like I said, it would probably be a better option to contract with a custom painter/decorator which we might consider.

As the originator of this fun thread, after 121 mostly relevant replies, I would like to see it continue with folks sharing OGR items found from the past. That was the original purpose of it.

Please post all the speculation, wishlists, and general snarkiness, coulda, shoulda and wouldas on another thead. Thank you.
