P1 Brake Sounds Question

I’m running my T-1 conventional with a ZW. I wasn’t hearing any brake sounds so, per the manual, I got to nine clanks and then chose two bells for “always on.” But I’m not hearing the braking sound consistently (just once or twice maybe in many trys) even when I have the throttle pretty high and drop down to low. Before I shut down for night, I tried at least ten times and heard nothing. Am I missing something?

No should work. Try the Reset 18 factory reset. G
