Plans for modifying a Lionel 6-6907 caboose like a series 17000 NYC car
Adding wire side railings, removing the "side marker lamps", adding a lighted interior and repainting to look more like a 17000 series caboose. Also increasing the truck center to center spacing would help.
The plastic underframe will be cut and spliced to move the truck centers. A new floor will be added also. LEDs will be used for lighting and new markers.
