Mr JD.Here is what I do.(Im in the residential construction trades)Go to HD or Lowes and buy a 20lbs bag of Durabond 45.It will cost you 10 bucks.Mix it on the loose side.Apply it with a 4 in brush.If smaller area use a 3 or 2in.You have a 30 min working time.It will dry solid like plaster and will not crack(even if you apply it 3in thick).You can even sand it if you like.I know guys on here prefer materials meant specific for hobbys.But this is better and in 1/3 the cost good luck.Nick
