Allan, I know you work harder than most of us know. Your always there with suggestions for stories. You encourage us with improvements to our articles, and a compliment when we'er finished. Thank you for your service in Vietnam, thank you for calling when our dog Daisy was sick. Thank you for just being a nice guy.

I'm sure Richard Melvin is proud to have you as Eitor-in-Chief. I know I'm proud to have you as a friend. Aloha my friend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLAN!!!!!!!!

Don and Vicky

Please allow me to join the rest of the members in wishing you an enjoyable day on your birthday. I have never met you but I am aware that we have two things in common-we love model railroading and we served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the same time frame (Did you ever see, better yet hear that steam engine powered passenger train that went North every week day not far from Munsan and on towards the DMZ? It was a real trip to hear that engine whistle going thru the river valley as the darkness of the night sky faded and became lighter every morning.
