Does anyone have any experience with K-Line Plymouth switchers model k 2630-05.I was wondering if with the short wheelbase they might stall on Lionel manual 036 switches. Any help greatly appreciated. Wally

It's been a few years. In some cases a pickup is installed on a car behind the engine. You can use a small plug to ease when connecting to engine. Before you do all the work make a few practice runs across the switch.
I don't know about Lionel 036 Switches, but they will go thru an ATLAS 072 Switch with no problem!!! Have someone on the FORUM measure the distance between the ROLLERS and compare it to the distance between the FROGS on that 036 Switch. I would do that for you, but don't have a Plymouth Switcher or 036 Track.
Good Luck,

Does anyone know the distance between rollers on the k-line Plymouth switcher?
Space between rollers = 2 23/32", or 1/32 less than 2 3/4 ! (plus or minus a few thousandths)
My Plymouth Switchers go thru my Fastrack O36 switches OK, not perfect, a little jumpy, but they get thru every time.
I also have a Lionel O-27 90 degree crossover and they go across that fine.

ps. I notice a TV insurance commercial offering FROG PROTECTION... think it's worth it?
Thanks for all the info. Wally
