A question for the group. are the older and newer power masters the same creature? I have my system set up with both TMCC and Legacy and would like to add them to run my conventional equipment. will the older units respond too both the cab 1 and legacy cab or just the cab 1. i know the legacy power master will do both. the earlier versions are still around for a little less. thanks Rick

The Legacy Power masters will work with your Legacy Cab 1 or Cab 2, If you want to use / purchase the older power masters you will need to buy the bridge device to make them work, you only need one per layout. #996 POWERMASTER BRIDGESKU: 6-24279. Unless you really want the older power masters for lower cost, I would recommend just using the Legacy ones.
thanks. I have the layout divided into three power sections with three fast acting breakers. so i will need three of the power masters for individual control of the sections. are the power masters addressable so i can run each section with multiple hand held control's ?
Yes, you are able to setup the power masters for individual addressing (ENG or TR) and control the power to each power block.
