I'm in the process of trying to put together....something (website, perhaps a book??). At the moment I am just researching and I am trying to locate early advertising showing some of the pre-1900 large tin clockwork floor trains by makers like Ives, Althof Bergmann, George Brown, Fallows, Hull & Stafford, Merriam Mfg Co. I am trying to locate some catalogues, or reprints of catalogues, or simply copies of ads from these manufacturers. I know there are reprints of several of these catalogs. I have gotten copies of some of the early Ives ads, but I'm desperately looking for more from Ives or any of the others. If someone has a source for catalog reprints, I'd appreciate the info. If you have original catalogs or reprints, I'd be willing to pay for copies of ads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
