I'm working on another PS3 steam upgrade. I'm having difficulty placing the tether socket into the locomotive, mainly because of location. The twin diodes get in the way of it sitting nicely.
Reading around on the forum, I came across this: https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/...arness-pcb-w-2diodes. I also dug around on some other posts as well. Neat trick MTH uses to power the smoke and headlight.
It looks as though the diodes could in theory be moved further up the chain, as long as they make the same connections. In that case, is this actually possible? Also, aside from the yellow & white wires for the motor, as well I think the brown wire for smoke, which wire then becomes the other connection point? MTH has a habit in this kit of making seemingly half of the wires on the engine side cyan.
