Are the panel trucks that come with a flat car the same as the die-cast panel trucks that can be bought individually (not counting the paint schemes)?

The panel trucks on the flat cars are about 3/8" shorter bumper to bumper and 1/4 " less in height. Hopes this helps.. Bob
It helps somewhat; so are they roughly 1:50 scale?
I could go up and measure them exactly after work if that would help ?
I was just looking for a ballpark figure. I like the Menard's Santa Fe flat cars but wish they were available in a choice of orange-red or gray. I was considering buying the gray flat car with the panel trucks and moving the cars to one of my orange-red flatcars. Strangely enough, it seems the F150 car that came with those is too big (1:43). I was hoping the panel trucks were 1:48. I also bought the ATSF box truck which is 1:48, so that's my other project. I need to get to my local hardware store to get proper length screws to do the attaching.
