Resetting an engine?

Try not to make this too long... for some reason I didnt address or program my first Legacy correctly... I was addressing it and the track wasnt receiving power... once I figured that out I opened another engine with Legacy and I was able to program it and it's working great. Now back to the other Legacy engine. It just stays in neutral...Is there a way to wipe it's info clean and then address it again like I'm suppose to do? Also I tried programming a tmcc engine and it just stays in neutral and every button I hit the whistle goes off...

you did not give us enough information to tell you what number to push for reset.

look through your manual for the section on resetting the engine.

put the prog/run to prog and address it the number you have gave it.

Drew that was it! Thank you soooo much.... now I have both legacy engines working... but I'm still having issues with my tmcc engines. One has juice but just sits there idling? I've used the generic modules but nothing. So what am I doing wrong here?

Again, not enough information. What specific locomotive? Did you set it to program and program the ID and the locomotive type? For older versions of the R2LC there is a generic set of reset codes for TMCC locomotives.

check to make sure that your TMCC Engines are set to TMCC in your Cab 2 if set to anything other then TMCC and or cab 1 will not work.

Good point, this bit me once. When you change things now with the CAB-2, it defaults to Legacy!
