I recently helped out with a with a long-stored Flyer 290 set, the boyhood set of the owner. I had a #2 transformer that did well with a new cord and was in better shape than the original which was cooked. The 290 got a good going through and was revived, and a couple of days later the owner already had a 4x8 and some indoor/outdoor carpet set up. This set's owner was the last and first to run it - 50 years between runs!

My Flyer interest is relatively recent. A few locomotives followed me home here and there and I'm in the restoration fun period right now. It could be infectious.

Al, I really like your display.
What is not on my layout is carefully packed away in storage boxes. With a backdrop around the layout I cannot do wall shelves like yours.
Tom
You can always build shelves that mount around your layout from floor to layout height.
If that is possible?
Al
I can add shelves under parts of the layout and that will be done as I get time.
Im going to Albert's house haha
