Didn't know they had a Brill Bullet. My wife, infant daughter & I rode last run on the Norristown High Speed Line many years ago.
More recently, my wife, new puppy & I rode the Johnstown Trolley at Rockhill.
Ouch !! And I missed it !! Rode the cars quite a few year ago with my dear wife. Lots of fun.
Fantastic photos, thank you! One thing I noticed: I don't remember the PCC cars (like the PTC one above) having the pole pointing toward the front.
The entire fleet of El Paso PCC's had poles on both ends to allow backward running for the single-ended cars. To get to the barns they had to run backwards at normal speeds on a single-track spur for several blocks. There are seven double-poled PCC cars surviving being rebuilt this year by Brookville Equipment with pantographs for a new heritage line in El Paso. They are scheduled to return to service in late 2018 on a 4.8 mile route now under construction. The Rockhill museum route has no turnaround loop at the end-of-track. Thus, they installed an extra pole in their single-ended cars.
