WOW, and double wow,,,,what customer service ,,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bar none the BEST ,had to send back a standard switch they got it on monday ,,i got it back today,,,,,,unheard of ,,,,,,,,,,,best,,of the best,,,thanks steve !!!!!

I've dealt with Steve and Ross Custom Switches for over 20 years. If there is ever an issue with their product, regardless of the nature of the issue, Steve simply makes it right without delay. He is the best!
I'm surprised you had an issue with the switch in the first place, but not surprised by the service you received. Steve's SG switches and service are second-to-none. Now, if we could only convince him to make O-gauge switches that work with our tinplate trains!!

Doesn’t he make O gauge tinplate switches that are drop-in replacements?
Keith L, if you're referring to the "RossPlate" line, then yes; the O72 RossPlate switches have the same footprint as the Lionel O72 switches, and they have tinplate rails that are the same height as traditional tubular track; however, that is where the compatibility ends. They still are not compatible with the older prewar locos with the deeper flanges. I have asked Steve about building switches that are truly tinplate-compatible, but as of my last conversation with him early last year, he doesn't seem to have any interest in building them. If he could/would produce an O72 and a #4 switch that works with the older trains, that would open up a lot of possibilities for those of us who run the older trains. K Line did it with O-31 and O-72 in their Super-Snap line (modern trains roll right through them as well), so it can be done.
