Have an email out to the vendor of RRTrack but have yet to hear back. I currently run RRT 4 on Windows OS 7 - 64b. Has anyone experienced any issues running RRTrack4.0 under POS 8.1? Have heard some negative comments on OS 8. I can purchase a new laptop running OS 7Pro but again could save money on a laptop running OS 8. Your thoughts

You would be well served to get RRT 5 and wait for Win 10. No probs with Win 8.1, but RRT 5 is a major improvement over 4.
Both run in the 32-bit anyway.
No issues here with either version.
Thanks for your input. Time for me to retire this laptop and get something faster. I am done with designing the layout and occasionally open the files to add an accessory or two. Need RRTrack primarily for reference and to print the "control panel" printout.
The layout is 3 levels and is 10 by 40 feet. (This is out of control.)
