Perfect size track for clock work. When it stops you don’t have to go far to retrieve it!

This was a great set up for a club picnic. Didn't need power. The layout board belongs to a buddy who was sick and didn't make it, but the rest was mine except the Hornby.

Joe, that's an Ives loco I converted to windup using a Marx motor.

Those engines have some great run time between windings. Question: did you lubricate the insides of the curved track or lubricate anything else other than wheels and axles to help reduce friction?

I only oil all the moving parts of the motor except the governor itself. No oil on the rails. Also all the car axles and wheels are wire wheeled to polish them, then oiled.
