Running two MTH PS3 locos in tandem in conventional question

I would like to lash-up 2 MTH Railking PS3 locos. I run conventional with a Z4000 transformer. Will I have any issues? If I use the bell-horn buttons to activate station/yard sounds will both locos do it simultaneously? If yes, how might I get just one to "talk"? Thanks.

To get only one to “talk”, I think you can turn down the volume potentiometer on the trailing units. You may find, however, that you like the sounds from multiple units. When I ran multiple PS1 units, the slight time differences in response to the whistle control created a minor “echo” effect, reminiscent of mountain railroading. I liked it!

There is a Ps1 sequence to shut the horn and bell off in trailing locos. I don’t remember what it is, nor do I know if it works for PS2/3. But as long as the direction cycles are in sync, it’ll run fine.
