I put together this battery LionChief Beep together for Cuesta college to use for a play production they were running. They did not want to deal with track power and wanted something easy for the actors to set up and run.
Their school colors are green, so I painted the engine green for them.

Looks like the only green on my layout, other than the 200 pine trees, is the green anti-glare paint in front of the windshield on a Union Pacific F7A and a green Lionel operating milk car.

My green motive power in order of preference follows: 1: Lionel Classic scale GG1 in Brunswick Green with Cat’s whiskers. My favorite GG1 paint scheme. 2: More Brunswick Green GG1s with Cat’s whiskers but in semi-scale. From front to rear-Lionel post-war 2332 with faded stripes, Lionel conventional classic 2332 and finally an early MTH GG1. 3: Lionel MPC era Southern FM Train Master followed by a Lionel Trains Inc. Pennsylvania Train Master.
