Finally, a reason for working doors 😲
I reuse the oil applicators from Hob-E-Lube oil. The containers are refillable and have long needle point applicators. I keep a tray by the layout with oil and some filled with smoke. I also refill the oil ones with motor oil.

The rivet counters would object.
I love rivet counters. They taste like chicken.
About 5-6 years ago I used that kind of smoke on my O gauge. Called it "cotton". Have a picture of it somewhere.

You shoulda' seen the grins on the public's face when I used to run that setup on the NTrak layout. Priceless!
banelson posted:However, since I added fluid the front headlight is now working intermittently or dim. So now I wonder... did I add too much? Did I somehow not position it correctly into the stack? Maybe it is something else, it just seems odd that it happened after I added the smoke fluid (yes I followed the instructions).
Thanks,

The smoke unit drawing power may be affecting the headlight. Use the Cab2 to lower the smoke output or switch it off smoke power on the engine and observe the headlight brightness. Did it change? Call Lionel service with this observation.
Adding a half of a dropper or 15 drops won't flood any smoke unit. You have some good responses on amount usage and application tips. learn the engines needs while it is in warranty.
