I recently purchased a Lionel Hogwarts Express set (on eBay). Everything performs as it should, both with the app and the remote, except for the smoke unit. I added smoke fluid. The smoke switch is turned on, and the app recongnizes when the switch is turned on & off, but no smoke. The smoke lever is moving up & down properly. I don't see any signs of even a little smoke. Does anyone have any thoughts as to the problem? Is it the PC board or the smoke unit itself? Any help is appreciated.
