Several years ago there was an individual who produced animal sound boxes and various other sounds.  The plastic boxes were fully enclosed ... you could add an external power source and activation button.  The box contained a speaker as well.

Does anyone know of a source of the product?

I have a doggie park on my layout complete with people, trees and oh yes dogs but no sound ... what is the sense of having a doggie park without the dog sounds?

Thanks.

I have dealt with George at ITTProducts on several occasions and in my book he rates up there with the likes of Chris Miller at Miller Engineering.. While the modules are not self contained all you need to do is connect a speaker, power, and a jumper to select either continuous or a single playing of the sounds. Instructions very clear with actual pictures and instructions. George is very helpfully and will custom tailor a sound to your liking. I just purchased a unit from him (wig wag signal bell) which he synced up speed wise to match my Lionel signals. He once created a unit of kids playing in the water with some wildlife sounds in the background. A great product line at what I consider a great price. Oh and there is a volume adjustment right on the board. I usually remove it and connect a remote volume adjustment.
