Hmmm...

I'm standing here holding a can of Testors Modelmaster Semi-gloss overcoat, p/n 1959.  We (LHS) stock it regularly.  It's very popular among model railroad folks, especially. It is, indeed, a better compromise between gloss and dullcoat, IMHO.

In fact this can seems a bit light of weight....need to get another one on Monday when at the store!

Re Krylon being aggressive to some paints....   I've heard the same, but I have yet to experience it.  Since we're talking about what is typically the last applied finish coat after all the painting, lettering, etc....read: hours of heart, soul, and hard work!!...has been done, it would, indeed, be prudent to try the spray on another more disposable item having the same base coats/process.  Then, a notebook with a few notes documenting results would save time down the road should you need to repeat the effort....a tip from someone for whom the years are inhibiting total recall!!

Hey, FWIW, always...
