Nice, I like those.  What is the min curve on those?

Do you have part numbers for any of the Atlas or MTH cars you listed?

MTH has a good search feature on their product locator page.  You can search the Premier line for Twin Stacks or Husky Stacks and get several pages of results.

Atlas likes to hide their past products from potential customers so they don't have a functional search feature to their web site.

Atlas have made half a dozen production runs of Gunderson Twin Stacks.  Change the last digit for the 3rd and following runs.

Only one production run of Maxi IVs has been announced by Atlas so far.

Andrew, are you referring to this?  Because this is a prototype from Gunderson's competitor at the time, Thrall.  I don't think k-line made any gunderson articulateds.

Bachmann could have the Gunderson 40' well cars produced as articulated cars if they were prompted by high demand.

The Gunderson double-stack cars that were produced for MDK K-Line in China could be made articulated. They were not offered as articulated cars, but the sides and ends were designed like the Gunderson Maxi-Stack articulated cars, not the Husky-Stack or Gunderson All Purpose Well Cars. It would be much easier to make the K-Line Gunderson well-car into an articulated car then the MTH Husky-Stack well cars.

If anyone is interested I have quite a few of the end pieces male and female to make articulated sets 3-4-5 car sets of the above, email is in my profile.

I would be, but then I'd need these cars too.  Who made them and what are the catalog numbers?

The K-Line Gunderson Well Car was a single 40' well that is for a MAXI-STACK 5-unit articulated car. They labeled it like a Husky-Stack car with a 48' well, even though the longest container it can carry in the well is a 40' container.

Bachmann can produce a MAXI-STACK, 40' well, 5-unit, articulated car if they connected these wells like the Thrall Car well cars.
