A little more work on the experimental sheet rock stone work. I added some corbeling by making the last three courses 1/8" wider. I carved the head joints in the face, and used joint compound for all the voids and imperfections. I had a piece of hairpin railing made of brass brazing rod from a project my youngest son Mark did when he was in 7th grade. He and I made a section of the Rockville bridge from foam wood and cardboard. It is now part of my inside yard on the shelf layout attached to my work shop. The railing wouldn't fit, so I saved it for a future project.

I still have joints to carve inside the portal, and finish touching up the face before it can be painted.
