While cleaning out some junk in the basement I came across a container of Department 56 Tacky Wax.
I had long forgotten this container, and it was somewhat hardened when I popped the lid. However, it did seem to retain some stickiness and I successfully placed a figure on the layout with the Tacky Wax holding it in place. (Of course, the real test will be when I go out to the garage several hours from now to see if it's still upright.) Does anyone else use this stuff and more to the point, does it ever go bad?? Or does it have an "extended shelf life?" Mine was opened and I'm guessing it's at least 4 or 5 years old.
