The industrys on his layout have listings on the New York Stock exchange...

Real railroads briefly considered using a center rail because his layout does...

He tips the bathroom attendants at York with gold bullion...

Whenever he rides The Broadway Limited it becomes The Broadway Unlimited...

The NYC wanted to name the Vanderbilt tender after him, but no one knows his name...

For his new O scale layout lumber is being deliver to his home by rail cars.

He's been buying up 100% of Atlas O track production causing it to become scarce.

His O scale Classification Yard is going to be  larger than UP's 1 to 12in. Bailey Yard.

His new layout will cover three Time Zones and have its own ZIP Code.

Just for fun he has a 10,000 square foot Z scale layout.

He uses the Sequoia National Forest for his Christmas tree layout.

Has Atlas O make him an exclusive O-108 Turnout.

He uses two 55 gallon drums of oil to lube his equipment....WEEKLY!

His Cologne is the aroma of a freshly opened Vision Line Locomotive... his own natural scent.

As he walks into a layout room, his very Ora lights up the layout and trains begin to move.

While in the 5th grade, one of his steady girlfriends modeled for this ad.

He is quite simply... "The Most Interesting Man In The World".

He has reserved parking at York inside the Orange Hall for his Rolls Royce,  his chauffeur does the talksounds on his layout in the secret basement under Lionel Headquarters,  when he needs tech support he has a Orange & Blue Legacy Remote that has a direct line to Lionel's President and a elevator from the tech support room to the layout room. When he wants to run trains on a small layout his pilot flies the helicopter to the landing pad on the roof of the NJ Highrailers Club. Hugh Hefner has less lady friends than he does. He has the Super Bowl Trophy kept at his house until the day of the big game. He has serial number 1 of all the Lionel Big Boys recently made and his were overnighted by plane so he got all his before Christmas and already wrapped. LOL! Great Thread! Let's keep this going!

The only thing light about him is passenger cars, and even they are heavyweights.

Legacy actually refers to Lionel mentoring his accomplishments.

He wanted a custom voice command, but loves vintage stuff,

So he hired Neil Young to run his trains.

 (Title? Engineer..No...Conductor?..Nope...Brakeman

  Transformer Man of course)

Where on earth did this come from?!? Not LIFE magazine I'll wager.

Anyway if I could double like a post and thread, this would be it.

The only downside is she seems to be running 2-rail.

There is no downside to this at all!  Bob S

The downside is the upside.  Or vice versa.
