Since the 75th Anniversary of Mallard's record setting run is fast approaching, I'd have to believe the A4 is high on MTH's "to do" list.
I highly recommend "Mallard and the A4 Class" authored by David McIntosh and published by Ian Allan to anyone anxious to learn more about this impressive class of locomotives:

It would certainly be a converstaion piece but I'm not sure if enough interest could be generated.
If MTH would build a highly detailed one I would buy it!
Didn't Weaver, or 3rd Rail, or both, import some brass models of the A4's within the past few years?
