Oh you seen nothing .. Change the front frame front that holds the wheels .. You have to pull all the lights threw it.. And the wheels and all the linkage .. It's a good time ..

Alex are you still able to use your workbench with the remodeling going on downstairs?

    I am glad you, Willy Gee, Guns and GGG all have the patience to mess with this delicate stuff inside our engines, the older I get the more I do not want to mess with

the internals, it use to be fun for me, now my eye sight is not what it use to be, especially close up.   I finally realized before they put me in a rubber room, it was time to out source some of the fine electrical work.

Spence,  the only available space left in my basement is the workshop and a small exercise area. every other inch of space is clogged up, even our guest bedroom is full of stuff. LOL

Sure seems like a pretty small motor for an articulated 0-8-8-0 doesn't it?

I think the picture made it look smaller than it is, but i agree with you it's not as big as the Pittman motors I've seen in the past on engines this size.

I had to service the smoke unit on a TMCC Mogul a while back, and it was tight. This one looks even worse than that!

I can't believe that you can find the time to do repairs and work on the tear down of your old layout and the building of your new one.

Alex, that is a tough one.  I feel you were not the first guy inside this one.  They are ok to work on if they do not come to you in that condition.  I have that engine and might be selling the one I have.  It does not look right pulling passenger cars.  A cool engine.
