Tinplate Cookie Buildings

Home Shopping or QVC had some with cookies. 

I haven't seen any this year. I've got the four from a year or two ago, and I found two really thin ones from Hershey last year. I think they go good together. Here's a shot of some of them on my modules at our last show:

My sister sent me two single-story cookie tin buildings for Christmas, along with other items.  They are a library and a school.  They go very well with the other buildings (cookie tins) that were bought at Big Lots and other places a few years ago.

I asked my sister about them, and she said they were Girl Scout cookie containers.  Did a rather cursory Google search, but didn't see them listed or pictured anywhere.

I'll provide photos in the next day or so.

No tin houses this year, but I did get some nice pieces for Christmas from Home Goods, clock tower, London bus, phone booth, palace guards and post box.  The trolley is from last year.

Thanks Jim!  I didn't know there are departments at Home Goods.  They have a seasonal asle, that's probably where my wife got them.

Wow what a great way to populate a STG christmas themed layout! They look great. Several used ones on ebay though. 

In Syracuse Home Goods stores are combined with Marshalls.
