Tis the Season!
Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) members all around the cournty are having fun with their Lionel Trains. We have a very full weekend with activities and LCCA Special Events in various cities. If you have the time, please stop by one of these events and have some FUN!
LCCA member Angela Trotta Thomas has an art gallery exhibit “Lionel Toy Train Memories” and layout on display in the Coco Vivo Gallery in Charleston SC from now untill the end of the year. LCCA Director Roger Farkash invites you to attend the Trains At NorthPark Mall in Dallas TX from now until Jan 5, 2014. . There is a phenomenal layout built by TW TrainWorx of Dallas TX and the proceeds go to benefit the local Ronald Mc Donald House. LCCA members Rich and Karen Dissosoway are hosting a holiday season open house event at their home in Lewisville NC this Saturday December 14. Also on Saturday, LCCA member Bob Ver Hoef and Pam Richardson are hosting a toy train show and Christmas Open House event in Leland Iowa. A local Make-A-Wish child will be designated the honorary engineer for the day. Also, please come to the “Lionels At Laman” event n North Little Rock AR from not until the end of the year. Stop by and visit with LCCA’s editor of The Lion Roars club publication, Mike Mottler. Most recently, we announced an open house layout event at the MOSH (Museum of Science and History) in Jacksonville FL. We will have a LCCA day on Saturday, December 21 where all LCCA members will be admitted for FREE. Stop by and run your trains on their layout. On Saturday and Sunday December 14-15, I will be representing the club at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh PA. Please stop by and let’s run some Lionel Trains!
