Don't buy the Legacy version of the Ten-Wheelers if you can avoid it. There were some performance issues (not easily resolved as I recall) described on this forum. The TMCC, on the other hand, supposedly were just fine.

Legacy 10 wheelers and consolidations run just fine.
The legacy MOGULS aka 2-6-0's are the ones with the issues.
Another note. TMCC ten wheelers have fan driven synchronized smoke. TMCC 2-8-0s have one chuff puffer units. Legacy versions have 4 chuffs as expected. They all run Ok though.

Apologies for mischaracterizing the Ten-Wheelers. I just knew that one of the smaller recent engines with 6 drivers was a problem.

What issues are those? I have the early Legacy 10-Wheeler, it runs just fine. Other than replacing the 6-ohm smoke resistor with an 8-ohm resistor, I had no other performance issues.
After applying Pete's bushing fix to my newly acquired Legacy Mogul, it runs great as well. Great deal at $300 NIB.
