My grand daughter has from day one loved trains....real and model. Today on the way home from school she heard a train on nearby tracks close to home. She asked her mom to stop so she could watch them......She also knows I'll ride on the same tracks soon when I travel to CA. Here she is...watching a CSX train....shes almost 4.

Very nice indeed.

My granddaughter stayed overnight. She just turned five. This was her first time at the Legacy controls. Within 10 minutes she was running the train fine, making it "talk", sounding the horn and whistle and having a blast. Within a half hour she was operating the TMCC Crane and moving trucks around with it.  Between Friday night and Saturday we logged 8 hours train playing time. Unbelievable the way kids instantly adapt to Legacy. The MTH session did not go well at all. In a few more years she will be ready for it.

My 3 year old grandson Gentree loves trains as well. He lives in Osceola, Indiana literally 5 minutes away from the big NS yard in Elkhart, Indiana. Whenever I am at his house he always has me take him for a ride so we can watch trains at the NS yard. When he's done with that he always tells me to take him to the train store. The train store is New York Central Trains in Mishiwaka, Indiana. He also loves coming to my house and playing trains on my layout with me. Trains have really helped me build a deep bond with him.
