Does anyone know if you can use LCS to transfer your engine roster to a new Legacy base? Since I am a Mac guy I don't use the Legacy System Utility which is Windows only.

Yes you can.
You will need to use LCS to backup your old base. Swap out your old base for your new base. Then using LCS, run a restore from the backup file to your new base.

Aren't you describing how to use LSU to transfer to a new base?
BTW, if you buy windows on an intel stick, you can plug it into any HDMI monitor port and have windows 10 for about $100...essentially on a lump in the cord from a USB port, wifi and bluetooth. Not a lot considering what we are paying for various Legacy System module products from Lionel.
You could just consider it an appendage to your base hookup and still be an Apple Guy.
