truck removal

I have a coupling issue on a 2530 Baggage Car. Have removed the bottom side 4 corner metal screws and ask advice about lifting the car body off. Of concern are the plastic end doors, they seem to have a latching arrangement at the top car. Thank you for your insights.

NOTE from moderator: moved from 3-rail scale to 3-rail traditional....this is not a scale model!
