I know that many, if not most trolley lines used a loop to turn cars at the end of the line, but the McKinney Avenue Transit operation in Dallas uses a turntable. I'm thinking of using one on one end of my trolley line on my layout. Are there any other prototype examples, past or present?

Dallas is the only streetcar turntable I can think of, but there could have been others. Other turntables would have been the Waterloo Cedar Falls and Northern interurban in Iowa and the Milwaukee Road had a turntable for the electric locomotives in Tacoma, Washington. Then there are the San Francisco cable cars on the Powel Mason and Hyde street lines.
I know turntables for streetcars are pretty uncommon, but it makes sense for me on one end of my layout because space is just too tight for even a small radius loop--and I also could use the turntable to turn a small steam engine.
