I purchased two uncoupling tracks & control them with my cab 2.  The problem I have is I can't control the engine when ACC is pressed on the remote, so when I am backing up the engine & I am in acc mode I can't control the engine.  I would think that it would work just like the SW button where you can be in SW & still control the engine.  Any suggestions

Thank  You Ken M

You could hook up the uncouplers as switches to make them work the same way.  You may have to get creative with an added timer circuit so that the uncoupler only fires for a second or two with each press of a remote button.  I can't recall off the top of my head if the ASC only fires a moment on a throw command, of if it keeps powered for switches.

Just took a moment to look over the instruction manual for the SC2 to see if I'm giving you correct information, and I am 99% sure that I am... though from time to time my brain goes out for a sandwich without telling me.  Anyway...

you would simply assign one uncoupling track to the through connection and a second one to the throw/curve connection and program them in your remote as a switch.  the coupler will fire as long as you hold down the aux1/2 button and otherwise allow you to use the throttle as you can when controlling other switches.

You would call them up by pressing switch instead of accessory.

Edit:

Worth noting that an SC2 can be set up to run 12 Accessories, OR 6 switches, OR 4 switches and 4 accessories, so if you already have more than four normal accessories connected in addition to your uncouplers, this method won't work with just one SC2
