Awesome, Really nice work Alan !
Alan, do you make and/or keep a plan of your scratch builds like this? I also think this could be easily used as a brewery or chemical plant or many other plants or businesses. If someone else wanted one of these would you have to start over from scratch and figure everything out all over again? The piping really adds a lot and I think makes it adaptable to use by many other industries. A very nice piece.
Alan, I just love to see examples of your work. And you never disappoint.

Alex, Trainbug, rtr, and Chugman,
Thank you for the compliments.
rtr,
I make sketches of a lot of the things I construct. I generally try not to build the same thing twice. I will create similar things, but always try to provide some different details on them.

Thanks, it just looked like that might be a popular item and others might want one also. Thought it might be nice to have a pattern.
What type glue do you use?
Very professional looking, could be used for any number of small plants. I must say walnuts is a new one -- very nice and original.
Lou,
I have used Plastic weld cement, Bondene (By Plastruct) and CA (crazy glue) on this model.
Plastic weld cement for disimilar plastics, Bondene for similar plastics and Ca (crazy glue) in areas requiring gap-filling. I also use the accelerator with it.

I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on this project. Here are some pictures.

Nice. A lot of detail and complexity there. I really like the look of it, and such an unusual purpose, too!
Alan:
As usual outstanding work!

Mr Graziano,
Seriously how many hours do you have in a project like this?
Guys,
Thank you. I will post the final pictures today or tomorrow.
Tim, I probably have about 40 hours in this model. I may work on it 1 to 2 hours a day during the weekdays and five or six hours on weekends.
That does not count the time to come up with sketches of what I am going to do. If you put that time in, in some cases the hours will double.
Alan Graziano
That is a lot of hours. It shows in the detail and precision. I look forward to the photos. A great and very interesting project.
Alan,
I don't know anything about walnuts but that looks GREAT!
Dave
This model is certainly a trophy piece.
