Well I can tell you one thing for sure.

From MTH's Facebook page:

"The Premier Hudson in image will be featured in the 2014 Volume 1 RailKing & Premiere O-Gauge catalog which will be on-line next Wednesday Oct 16th. There a several version in the catalog including sets with passenger cars. All have a MSRP around a thousand dollars to thousand one hundred for engine with passenger cars"

Here is the picture they were referring to

Even better is Atlantic City Camelback 1027, a Vauclain compound 4-4-2 that pulled the fastest regularly scheduled passenger trains in the world between Camden and Atlantic City during the 1890's. Rival Pennsy built 3 Camelback 4-4-2's with European 3-axle tenders to compete. Further developments led to the E6 Atlantics. No. 460, The Lindbergh Engine, rests in The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania at Strasburg.

That Hudson is no. 5446.  Lionel made Hudson no. 5452 (in my collection).  MTH made Hudson no. 5445 (not in my collection but available on eBay).  This offering may permit filling in some gaps in the roster.  Until the complete roster of Hudsons has been made, there cannot be too many Hudsons (or Challengers, or Pennsylvania T1s).

It is K4 #3678 the most streamlined of the four Pennsy K4s that were streamlined.  The other three were numbers 1120, 2665 and 5338.  K4 3678 was one of the very first steam streamliners.  It was introduced March, 1936  the Dreyfuss was not debut until March, 1936.

Now the Pennsy S1 from 1938 has some similar styling to the 3678 but defiantly different.  MTH model pictured on dynamic test stand.

I like the way you think.

Just an added observation......  The two streamlined engines in the above mentioned picture (Hudson & K4) are somewhat mimicking a Worlds Fair presentation.  I don't have the link but will try to find it and post it.  Others may know what I'm referring to..

In the video clip if I can find it it shows:

The audience being treated to a big reveal as the Dreyfus Hudson rolls in the staged viewing area from the Left of stage and the K4 comes in from the right.

Try searching by:

"1939-1940 New York World's Fair (Railroad on Parade)"

Anyways, since I don't model either one of those roads it doesn't matter to me which one is in the catalog....

I'm a dummy...

My apologies...

.......I'm not on Facebook

.......... so I didn't see that MTH made the specific reference to it themselves.  I just happened to remember the picture/video.

.....in other news....Now how about that TT Gray Union Pacific 4-8-2 or 4-6-2 ?......still dreaming......

I for one will be picking one up. It's been on my list for a while. I recently picked  up the Premier Pennsylvania Streamline K4.  So there will be a future reenactment of the below photo on my layout. Now I'm just waiting for a Premier 1941 Empire State Express. Go NY Central!
