I just primed a LaBelle baggage car with grey primer.  It looks good and I am going to keep it prior to weathering.  I want to apply waterslide decals to the model, but am not sure if I follow the same procedures as with plastic.  I have applied on plastic and am relatively comfortable with the results.  I have not applied to wood and would appreciate any hints or suggestions concerning the application process.

Same process but make sure that you have a good gloss surface wherever the decals are to be applied.  And use whatever decal set that you prefer to get them to snuggle down into any uneven surface.  After setting and dry, you can go back with a scalpel and cut along any boards where the decal might not have gotten fully in depth, and then re-apply more of whatever decal set that you prefer.  Seal as per usual with Dull Coat or whatever your plastic preference was in the past.
