This past Wednesday at the VMT I removed the Frozen layout and repainted the "box".
After that it was time to put in a new theme for the upfront kids window ...."Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Excellent! Sound is right volume and different sequences every time.
An oldie... One of my favorites from an old layout.

WALT RAPP thanks for the good laugh I'm a senior and have moments occasionally but thought I'd missed from 2017 to 2107 whew and yes I'm kidding we all make typos no biggie but still my sense of humor kicked in.

Paul, great photos.
Last day of the modular layout and the endow the winter train display season 2017-2018.
On our last day we were joined by a special young lady who received a Pennsy LionChief engine and some freight cars. She ran the train better than Gilly and I ran ours.....we were responsible for a few major crashes 
.....
Take down is always sad........

Hope you are all having a good Friday. Here's a shot from some recent water work on a large 2-rail layout. The two small lakes connected by a water fall are part of a removable access hatch.
I've decided to go all the way ...
by train!

Ouch! Nice Peter.
Two quick shots of the Texas Eagle coming off the Joint Frisco-MoPac White River bridge heading north to Hollister/Branson on the White Rive Sub; the Eagle was diverted from the old St. Louis, Iron Mountain, and Southern main to St. Louis by a track rehab project. The diversion adds several hours to the run, but who would complain about spending more time on such a beautiful and luxurious train?
The first photo catches T&P Mountain #907 just off the bridge and starting to learn into the curve which borders an Ozark farm near the tower and junction at Notch. The Eagle will thunder past the tower catching orders on the fly. As with the photo from last week, part of the town of Marmaros can be seen in the background, including the head of the hoist house of Lucky Silver Mine, Shaft #1.
Taken a spit second later but with a telephoto lens, the second photo catches the engine "up close and personal" just at the grade crossing that leads to the farm. In the haze on the right, we see some of the fall colors adorning the Ozark hills to the west, muted by the distance.
Worked on painting the copper roof on the the new kit build tonight. Not quite happy with coloring yet.
Also needs some dirt streaks.
