New this week........

had sworn off any new locos....but did not have a camelback and even though it's Rail King it's scale.....so I had to have it. A very nice loco for the near $100 used price. I can see it with some wood cars in tow. 

NOTLIONELLLC but better than Lionel, LLC.  Nice work!

Customer in MI. wanted his boxcar to go with these two hoppers I did last week. He built a cement plant on his layout. Overhead filling spillage by sloppy workers, LOL!

Watched the Putnam Division Video and if Paton would have had some of those Tanks would have won alot faster!

I had chessie decals made and put on my lionel high rail truck and two lionel dump cars.  

My granddaughter brought her "Pet Shop Express" last week when she and her brother came for a night at our house. Such fun that she can run her train here on my layout! Thanks Lionel for advancing this great technology!

I painted an OGR building pink and blue to become a pet grooming shop "All Paws". Since her train came with two dogs and two cats, it is perfect and she had fun sending her "pets" that ride in the gondola to the groomer while she ran her train around the layout.

Funny thing is, I'm allergic to cats! 

I am trying to build up my vehicle fleet for my layout. I have given in and bought 1/43 scale vehicles as 1/48 are few and far between. I do find that some cheaper brands of '1/43' cars are 1/48 or 1/42 or whatever size the manufacture wanted that day. This one just landed at my door....

A Solido 1/43 WWII Jeep. I am not going to have a lot of military on the layout....but a few vehicles here and there are great......besides....what a great vehicle for $5.....windshield even folds down!! thx

FYI, Dept 56 makes a Barbie Pet Salon and Boutique.  I got it for my daughter.  It would fit right in with your stuff

Its Friday afternoon and the top brass just finished inspecting the Highline as they head down grade to wrap up the day.  the abandoned right away below was rerouted to avoid flooding from the Highland River.

What I found when taking pictures of rolling stock that will post for sale here.  These are nine Atlas and two Inter Mountain box cars that like the other stuff to be sold off have never been out of the boxes.

Not just two NYC cars but two             P-Mickey box cars.  These are keepers.

And then there are these two IM box cars, a UP and GN keepers also.

Another shot from last weekend on the National Capitol Trackers layout, Great Scale and Hi Rail Train show, Timonium, MD.  The Cherry Blossoms are out early this year as my PRR Baby Mikado #9631 rolls past the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.

Here is a train piggy bank that my girlfriend got me for valentine's day gift.

Great photo's this week, I started work this week on a city scene that I'm not sure what it's name is yet....

Here's a nice outfit that I always love to run, I just wish it had a horn.
