Nothing better than a little New Haven in your day!
Anyone want to guess where I get my canisters?
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Here's a short video.....
Thanks for starting early, Scott!

What brand of bottle top are you using for canisters this time Peter?
A 2018 Christmas Layout memory
To repeat last week's comment one last time, each week I try to use a section of the layout that matches the current calendar season. For instance, this Spring I posted all images of the Easter section of the layout. In 2018 I did NOT have a summer scene or anything close to one. I had Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. So even though it's not what I prefer, I will have to just post whatever I have. Sorry.
Halloween. This is kind of an embarrassing picture since it shows the Winter scene prior to building it. But it is a good Halloween section picture I think.

Added several led lights from Evan Designs to the Woodland Scenics Ethyl's gas station (item # BR5849), where just basic plastic "light" fixtures were located. Added two yellow leds to the light poles, and two warm white leds to the gooseneck lights above the doors. Not the best of photos below, but it shows how much more this gas station is illuminated.
This building does come stock with interior led lighting and one led under the roof by the gas pumps. But the rest of the structure was too dark for my tastes.

My daughter sent this on her way to Machu Picchu: "Happy Father's Day to the person who taught me how to explore the world."
Funny, she has gone farther, traveled more than I ever have. Gotta love her!
