Happy Birthday, Josh!
The set you got is a great one!

Here is Raritan River Railroad SW900 number 1 working my layout's main freight yard. The Hercules Centerflow and Hostess Airslide cover hoppers were common sights on the line in later years as Hercules in Parlin and Continental Baking in East Brunswick generated significant volumes of traffic for the railroad.

Happy birthday, Josh...hope you enjoy your new train set! Great photos, Scott!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Followed the New York Central electrics around the layout today. The S motor is by Lionel and the T3 is a Sunset 3rd Rail product.

Here's a subway station platform I'm building for my club. The NJ Hi-railers.
Footprint 8 foot long 6 1/8 inches wide.
Just picked up some Menards rolling stock this week. I bought the cars for the Pepsi trucks and passed along the flat cars and free boxcars to my boys. Talk about solidly built! These boxcars are made of super thick plastic which is perfect for little hands.
A 2015 Christmas layout memory
Maybe one on the more expensive "backdrops" used. For the unfamiliar, these are Pittsburgh Pirates logos that are printed in the summer months on the cardboard cases for a local beer, I.C. Light, made by Pittsburgh Brewing Co. That's a lot of beer making up my "backdrop"!!!
