We've been installing this beautiful 13' long stone block viaduct to the Hellgate bridge. Wanted to give you guys a preview as progress is made.

The bridge was created by forum member Tim W and he did an outstanding job!

I was just getting tired of the incorect horn on some of the Railsounds 4.0 upgrades I have done in my locomotives so I got this,   The real truth is I just purchased a WABCO AA2 air horn, I have always want a locomotive air horn, time to have an outdoor hobby when the weather is nice.

Not to be a jerk, but can you ask for permission before using another person's image, or at least credit the photographer.   Sorry, it's a sore point for me, as I have had photos of mine taken in the past & used w/o permission on websites.  The Reading shot is mine.  Seeing how you left the watermark on both shots, tells me you didn't do it intentionally, but just a heads up for the future.

Sam, those viaducts are terrific!  Did you make those or are they a commercially available product?  Either way, great stuff!

Dennis, love the quality and composition of your photos.  There's so much going on there. Beautiful.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...Rail King MP15AC up top....Premier Genset down below....

These excuses cannot be tolerated by the photo posting crowd.  If we let you slide then there could be anarchy.  Or at least we'll have to ban your cell phone from TGIFs.

I guess I will have to throw myself to the mercy of the forum....as far as the cell phone ban--my wife couldn't call me and tell me I am staying there too late; sounds like a good deal to me.

That's a nice-looking engine (Baldwin ??).  Where was this taken, at the Norfolk Southern 4th of July shindig???  Wish someone would make this in O !!

Good morning Mike,

A fella here on the forum named Tim W made these for us and did an amazing job working from photos of my space and measurements. I put his email in my post above and he has more photos of his work on the J&C archives site here-

This was one of two diesels that have been cosmetically restored at the Virginia Museum of Transportation. All the pictures I have posted this week were taken there last Saturday.

I would like to have O-Gauge models of both of these new restorations.

C. Sam - I am very impressed with your new stone arch bridges! Tim W. has done an outstanding job on them. I looked at his pictures and he is doing some fabulous work. I was planning on a curved wood trestle on my layout, but after seeing this it makes me wonder. My first choice would be a steel deck girder bridge, but I am a little intimidated by the thought of building it.

Great layout!

Art

I just finished this little project. I have had this accessory, K-Line Fisherman & Trestle, under the layout for several years and I finally have it installed. The little fisherman takes his pole up and down and it has a pump that actually pumps real water.

Also I wanted you all to see the re-painted FRISCO
Legacy GP-7s from Lionel. I think they look pretty good for a re-paint job....what do you all think?

Please forgive my quality of photography, I run trains better than I take photos.
I hope you all enjoy.

hey scott!! where is the tach tape (tape with black and white stripes)?????........rogerw.

You can't see the tach tape? It's all bunched up under the reader. I had scanned the MTH Tach tape stickers years ago into my computer. So it has been replaced and the engine is back on the rails running great.
