Chris those LEDs look fantastic!

Beautiful Flyer guys...George that tank car is a piece of work, Flyer hit it out of the park with that....and pay no attention to the black SUVs across the street.....

Daniel that loco-tender is awesome!

Dennis that Scale Craft K4 is beautiful! I'm a SPF and the K4 is a favorite with four 675/2020/2035s on hand.

OK guys,

There is an American Flyer 3008 ART car and a 3007 gondola up for auction on eBay. There are 51 people currently watching each. I am bidding. I expect these to be very active and go pretty high. One just doubled in price in the last hour. Good luck to all on these.

I need a 3142 Observation in red...where'd they all go?

“Now that is a great addition to the new 817 Caboose, how much trouble was it to add the LED's?”

Thanks everyone.

No not hard at all. I got power from the interior lighting and used Evans red chip LED’s hot glued behind the lens.   All my LED’s come from Evans designs.

Chris,

That would have made a great how-to article for the  magazine!

Chris,

I did not realize that new 2817 was a lighted Caboose, now that is way cool, now I understand where you got the electric for the LED's.  Are the lights in the 2817 Caboose LED's also?

Man I got to add this Blue Caboose to my 817 collection for sure!

Greg,

The AF Potomic Set is simply fantastic!  Love the colors.

Steamer,

It's never to much!   Got to admit the 226E is a winner of an Engine built in the Tin Plate Era.

Dave did you ever get your 810 Crane fully restored?  I see her toward the end of the consist.

too much for my O27 curves....sometimes it takes a gentle hand starting the train out with the Prewar cars.

Sometime when your sitting watching a movie for a few hours, grab a handful of tin wheels and axles, a rag and a bottle of Brasso and go to town.  Do that to all those axles and wheels then get em all cleaned off, oil em up and you can pull what ever you want.

Hey, they make or did make 042 and 054 curves in 027 track if you can find some.  There is also the Marx 034 which I bet you have some of.  Just sayin, you might could modify one of your loops with some broader curves if needed...

Here you go, complete circle of 054  (027 size) Lionel track.  You could keep the 027 inner, change to 042 middle and 054 on the outer loop.  I think it would work and wouldn't take any more space to do.
