What channel on the legacy base have you found works best?

I found channel 9 works best for me and when I went to the club they were already on 9 there.

I'm currently using channel 3 and it's never been a problem.  The channel you use is going to be dependent on your exact environment.  I know the modular club uses a different channel, because I have to search whenever I connect.  I honestly don't remember which one it is, but it wasn't a problem after I connected there either.

What version of software are you on?

Also try hitting the CTC button next time you loose control.  When I do loose contact on the rare occasion that usually gets me back.

Thanks for the replies...I am on version 1.4...I will try hitting the ctc button next time...when in command control I usually run my legacy engines very slow and realistic, it is not too critical...but when I switch to conventional for older engines...it gets kinda hairy at the higher speeds.  I seem to lose control pretty frequently...the manual suggests that channels 5-10 might be more reliable.

Never read that before, but I do have a 2.4ghz wireless camera that I occasionally run around.  I'll have to try the low channels and see if that's an issue.  It might also be the issue with the interference I occasionally get on the video!

I think the best channel setting is the one that works the best for you. Everybody's conditions are different and there may be different things that affect the Legacy signal. Anything that uses electricity has the ability to generate an RF signal. Most items that are operating correctly generate very little or none at all but things that aren't operating correctly can cause quite a mess.
