What happened to MRC Dual transformers

Try contacting Despatch Junction listed above, they usually have a good assortment of older transformers and they repair them there too. Good luck.

Re: MTH Z-4000 transformers.  I wouldn't say all are spoken for.  I know my dealer ordered an extra 20 to put in his stock and I am sure plenty others have done the same.    JP

Hey Mike !    There is a MRC Dual transformer on Ebay at the moment, for sale.

The Z4000 is going to be ridiculously priced at around $600!  IMO the used MRC Pure Power Dual for  half that is a much better buy!  They come along from time to time for a good price.

Wow, if a z4000 is going to be $600 you might as well take the plunge and go for a brand new ZW.  If i remember correctly some or all MTH locos dont play well with MRC transformers, mine didn't.

My MRC Pure Power Dual is absolutely no problem with my 10 MTH engines in the 12 years I have had it.

I ran a host of MTH locomotives with my MRC Pure Power Dual, and my current bench transformer is the MRC Pure Power 130, a single handle version of the same transformer.  I do tons of MTH work with it, and it's never been any issue.
