Fred and his business partner started QSI out in Beaverton a long time ago; used to go out and buy stuff from them at their offices.  Then there was some kind of problems between QSI and I think MTH, maybe Lionel ... what happened there when the dust settled?  Then I heard QSI was then doing DCC for HO ... some HO control system?

THEN heard QSI was no more, but Scaled Tin Rail (STR) took it all over, ... then STR disappeared (?) ...

So ... QSI Dead For Good?  Same story on STR??  QSI making HO control systems now??

Who has the "real lowdown" on QSI and their products?

Seems QSI has dumped the aftermarket all together and is focusing on the OEM instead.

From the QSI Yahoo Group posted 9/5/2017...

"QSI is not planning on reproducing the large scale Titan decoder.

HOWEVER, we do have in stock what we call FX-DO, which is what we furnish to O scale DC and DCC manufacturers. This unit will power just about all of the current  large gauge engines. It has all the latest features and full lighting capability.

Interested?  drop me a note off line."

QSI Solutions...the US distributor is gone...Infact the website is now kaput!

The website refers to the Yahoo Group, and the Yahoo directs folks back to the all-but-defunct website. LOL

I was hoping that 3rd Rail was going to switch to ESU, Soundtraxx, etc.  Still do.
