Just got back my Williams scale GG1 from my repairman who installed TMCC and sound from ERR.  What a great piece.  It runs slowly, fast, and everywhere in between.   My technician made it so if I ever wanted to convert it back to the original configuration, I can.  Meaning, he didn't drill anything in the frame for the program switch.  Maybe that is how everyone does it.?  But to program it, all I need to do is to take the alligator clips across the pantograph points.  Thanks also to Boxcar Bill for helping me out with the order.  It is appreciated.

Have a good night.

I can't remember what was ordered now, but you can email Boxcar Bill and tell him what you have; he will send you the correct kit. { http://www.mttponline.com/#!&nbsp }.  I am loving this engine.  Was running it last night pulling 5 scale MTH passenger cars and it pulls them without a hitch.

I also like the way my guy set it up.  Again, he didn't have to drill anything into the frame to install the program/run switch.  I thought it was slick.

I have more pictures if you need them, but these are two of the better ones.

Nice job.  The Williams scale GG-1 gives you tons of space to put stuff in.  I normally use the existing switches or holes if they're available, no reason to do extra work punching holes.

Another neat trick for the program switch that you can use for plastic shells is a reed switch.  I resorted to that when I put TMCC into one of the RMT speeders, no convenient place for the switch!  Just set a magnet on it and you're in program mode.

That is an excellent idea indeed.  When I was still in HO, I had some P2K engines which used the reed switch to adjust sound and some other characteristics, it was very convenient and simple.
